In our Functional Strength classes, students learn proper techniques and engage in appropriate programming for weightlifting and bodyweight exercises. Our Functional Strength classes are designed to help students to achieve comprehensive fitness. The classes involve high-intensity workouts that are systematically varied in order to continually improve muscle strength, power, flexibility, agility, and cardiovascular and respiratory endurance. We use barbells, dumbbells, gymnastics rings, climbing ropes, pull-up bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, sand bags, and boxes to challenge students in every way possible.
These classes are particularly well-suited to students who find that they need greater strength, power, and/or stamina in order to advance further in parkour.
